The Sims 2 - Miniature Versions Of My Decorative Buddhas

Well this is a long time coming, and I can't believe I never thought to do this until today. These are tabletop versions of my decorative Buddhas I did here on the site many years ago found here and here. They are repository linked to the originals so any recolours of the originals you have in your downloads folder will show up in these as well. I've included the originals in case you don't already have them because they are required for this upload. They are found in decorative/sculpture and cost 100 simoleons each. Enjoy!

The Sims 2 - Black Buddha NH Decor

This was requested in the chatbox by Sonikan. This is my black Buddha recolour as neighborhood decor. It's the same size as the original Chinese Buddha neighborhood decor. It's a little bit shinier than the original, maybe because of neighborhood vs. indoor lighting, and maybe because it was cloned from something else. Found in landmark. Enjoy!

The Sims 2 - Buddhism Meme Paintings in Simlish (Recolours of Bella Squared)

Included are 3 Buddhism meme paintings in simlish for The Sims 2. I may make these for Sims 3 as well later on if anyone requests it. Bella squared is a base game painting so you don't need any EP or SP. They translate into English - Mordor (One does not simply learn Buddhism from Facebook posts), Buddhists meditating (Other religions are out there fighting, and we are just sitting here meditating), Indigo Buddha and flower (Kindness, it doesn't cost a damn thing, sprinkle that shit everywhere). The Sims 2 - Asian Bridge Mural (Paint Walls)

Included are 4 walls found in Paint costing 9 simoleons. If you tile the walls, they look very odd. But if you put them in pieces to form a puzzle picture, you get this lovely Asian bridge mural. I've named them Far Left, Center Left, Center Right, and Far Right so you can distinguish which is which in game and when you download. Enjoy!

The Sims 2 - Buddhism Major

It only seemed natural to me that sims would study Buddhism, as it's a major world religion, and people study it all the time. If you ever wanted your sim to study Buddhism, then this major is right up your alley! You will need Majors Made Easier by FrikaC at modthesims for it to work. If you don't have Majors Made Easier the game will crash! To use place the Majors Made Easier painting in buy mode. In live mode, select the custom major of your choice. This major has been play-tested and is known to function 100% properly. Cloned from the Biology major so all class times and skills required are the same as that major. The icon has a transparent background.

Here is a run-down of the class titles -

Class Title 1
Siddhārtha Gautama and the Legend of Becoming Buddha
Class Title 2
Saṃsāra "The Cycle of Life and Death".
Class Title 3
Karma - (from Sanskrit: "action, work") in Buddhism is the force that drives Saṃsāra—the cycle of suffering and rebirth.
Class Title 4
Rebirth - Rebirth refers to a process whereby beings go through a succession of lifetimes.
Class Title 5
The Four Noble Truths - The teachings on the Four Noble Truths are regarded as central Buddhism.
Class Title 6
Nirvana - Nirvana means "cessation", (of craving and ignorance) and the cycle of quieted calm.
Class Title 7
Buddhas - Siddhārtha Gautama was not the only Buddha. The Pali Canon refers to many previous ones.
Class Title 8
Senior Thesis: Meditation, Enlightenment, Nirvana, and Beyond.

I know he was a long time coming, but I couldn't find a low enough (using the term lightly, they are all high) poly mesh on Inria meshes research database site.
