The Sims 2 - Pet Story Cat Stuff Recolours

 As requested by dew_fairy.

Pescado converted the Pet Feeder, Cat Villa Capri and "Polymer" Scratching Post from
Pet Stories, unfortunately they were not recolourable. I have made them recolourable
and added recolours as requested by dew_fairy.

I made 1 small alteration to the mesh, the ball at the top of the scratching post is now
included in with the carpet not the metal. I also gave them new GUIDs so these will not

override the ones by Pescado.

These are not base game compatible, Pets is required!

The Sims 2 - Scooby Snacks For Sims And Pets

 As requested. Included are 2 Scooby Snacks. One for pets, and one for sims to eat. The one for pets is a default replacement texture, and will be spawned every time you feed pets. Pets is required for this one. The one for sims is found in your sim's fridge under Have a Snack...Scooby Snacks, and is available for all 3 meals. Children can get these out of the fridge because they are snacks. Only English  and English (U.K.) translations are provided. Enjoy!

The Sims 2 - TS3 Store Holiday Pet Bed For The Sims 2

 This is the pet bed from The Sims 3 Store 2011 Holiday Set for The Sims 2. There was only one colour option in the Sims 3 Store version so I didn't include any recolours. I had seen this a few months back in The Sims 3 Store, and had wanted to download it but wanted to wait closer to Christmas to share so I held off. I know it's not yet Thanksgiving, but it seems to be the right time as Christmas season approaches. The price is 270, and the poly count is 1,414. Enjoy and Merry Christmas!

The Sims 2 - Pet Bed Based Off Sofa Of Substance Sofa

 This is a pet bed based off of the Sofa of Substance sofa from the base game. It is slaved to the original sofa. As you can see, it is able to fit a large dog so it will be able to fit small dogs as well cats. Pets is required. Enjoy!

The Sims 2 - TS3 Store Atomic Registration Pet Bed For The Sims 2

 This is the pet bed from the Atomic Registration Sims 3 Store for The Sims 2, and the 3 recolours that come with the Sims 3 version. The recolours are separate from the mesh package. I did this because it has dirty states, and I couldn't get them working with recolours self-contained. This is big enough to fit a large dog as pictured, so small dogs and cats can fit as well. I did some resizing of the mesh to fit with the Sims 2 pet bed it was cloned from. The price is 625, and the poly count is 836. Enjoy!

 I have some cute kitty beddings for your cat lover sims. These are bedding recolours of Maxis bedding. They will work on all beds, single, and double, Maxis, and custom beds that use the Maxis bedding texture. The Sims 2 - Cardboard Box Pet Bed

 This was inspired by my cat, Harry who is enjoying climbing into boxes. I thought cats (and dogs) love to climb into boxes, so what is more fitting than to make a cardboard box pet bed. I made it large enough for large dogs to fit in with plenty of moving space. Of course, Pets is required. It is found in Miscellaneous/Pets and costs 15 simoleons. Enjoy!

The Sims 2 - Pets Stop Rolling In Puddles

 This mod will stop all pets from rolling in puddles. There are 3 files, because their are 3 types of puddles (rain, object mess, and urine). I'm not sure exactly which is which, so it's safe to just put all 3 in your downloads folder. This won't stop pets from rolling in flowers because I can't figure out how to make a global mod for that yet. Of course Pets is required. Enjoy!

The Sims 2 - 50/50 % Chance Dogs Will Lick Or Chew Toy Bone (Pets Required)

The Maxis percentage that dogs would chew, as opposed to licking the toy bone was 75%. I have changed this to 50%, so dogs will chew half of the time, and lick the bone half of the time. Pets is required, because this is where dogs, and toy dog bones come from. Enjoy!

The Sims 2 - Lower Price For Birds (Pets Required)

Now I'm not saying that 400 simoleons would break a Sim's budget. We all know there are cheats to add money easily. However, I noticed the price of birds is a little pricey as compared to real life. A pet bird in real life ranges from $25 - $1,000 depending on the bird, but the birds in The Sims 2 Pets are pretty much around the 100 simoleon range whereas the Maxis version was 400. Also, if you just want to budget without the use of cheats, this mod is for you. Pets is required, because this is the EP bird cages come from. Enjoy!

To get fish to show up, you will need to use the restock option (Also if you don't see fish after restock, bring up the cheat boolProp UseShaders true). The Sims 2 - One Tile Bird Cage

This is a one tile version of the Maxis bird cage that comes with Pets EP. Pets is required as this is the EP where bird cages come from. It is slaved to the original bird cage. It is the same price and poly count as the original. Enjoy!

I've updated as requested to add the modded price bird cage. This version has a different GUID from the original so it won't cause conflicts if you already have the original. However, there will be nothing to tell them apart other than the price, so you might want want to take it out anyway before putting this one in.

The Sims 2 - Feeding Pet a Treat is Never a Negative Social

I was playing today, and I noticed that my sim got negative points for wanting to feed her dog a treat! That doesn't make any sense at all to me. I've changed it so sims and pets always get positive points for feeding treats. If the pet rejects the sim, there will still be rejection animations, but the social will raise, not as much as an approval, but it will raise instead of decrease. Enjoy!
